To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han: Absolutely fabulous YA book. I really, really like the main characters. They are also totally believable in their teenage mannerism. Once I started it, couldn’t put it down anymore and finished it almost in one go. I love books that have this effect on me. That doesn’t really happen so often anymore. If you are into this genre, go for it. Totally worth your time!

P.S. I Still Love You (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, part 2) by Jenny Han: Lara Jean and Peter are moving along to a real relationship with all the woes of jealousy and insecurities. Everyone who has been in love as a teenager recognizes the signs and knows when trouble is ahead. But you root for these two and just hope for the best.

Always and Forever, Lara Jean (To All the Boys Trilogy 3) by Jenny Han:  When you know you belong together but life gets in the way. It’s time to say goodbye to highschool and move on to college. Nothing happens as it was supposed to and the two main characters have to find a way through changed circumstances. Even though the head says one thing, will the heart prevail? Finally a trilogy to love!

A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara: It took me ages to finish this book. And one of my friend’s told me that it put her off reading. This was still in the early pages for me though. so what is it with this book? Let me tell you first that it is beautiful. So well written and just a joy to read. But not so much the subject. This is hard work and that’s why it took me so long. I needed to take a break from it just to relax again and go on breathing. Not everything makes sense, but the beauty lies in the story and its subjects. Definitely worth my time!
