The flowers of Ecuador and Galapagos

The manifold flowers of Ecuador and Galapagos are more than impressive. In the cities the garden varieties bloom in abundance while in the country lush and striking flowers are everywhere. I don’t know how often I stopped and took some flower pictures. I also learned that small flowers are endemic the Galapagos while bigger ones are an invasive species. The reason for this are the lack of insects to pollinate the flowers. Interesting, no?
