The doors of Sifnos

The doors of Sifnos come in all kinds of colors from bright to pastel. I almost had the feeling as if in Apollonia a village committee decides which color everyone is allowed to use. It does make a pretty picture though, when all the doors shine in a different color. The overall effect is one of joy and lust for life.  There are of course more villages on the island than Apollonia and Kastro, but these two I explored in leisure. In all the other places it was more a back and forth between the beach and the bus station. In any case I hope you find these doors as fascinating as I do. Yours, Pollybert
