I had to get up at 6am this morning and this was the first face I saw:
Mandy is really cute but her enthusiasm at this time can be a bit exhausting. Still we made it on the road by 6:30 and had a beautiful sunrise on the way to the highway.
After a coffee and gas break we arrived at around noon in Venice and this was my first view on San Marco:
Spent the day enjoying Prosecco, vino tavola and all other things that are good in life.
Prosecco was sponsored by our beautiful B&B Bloom. If you look for a place to stay, it is gorgeous here and also has a magnificent roof top with a view on the Campiello San Stefano.
Like any good tourist we had a Bellini here
but forwent a coffee here
Best of all, no more acqua alta in Venice but please note that we seemed to have just missed it. I bought a bookmark in this store where the table legs are still wearing boots.
