I am always astonished when I go somewhere north and then there are flowers in abundance. But why shouldn’t there be any in Kyiv? First of all it is just a bit more north than Vienna and then it was also summer while we were there. So of course the city is full of flowers. The splashes of color everywhere made Kyiv so much more beautiful. The flowers were around a number of monasteries, in parks or just sold by older women out of buckets. Why is that by the way? Yours, Pollybert
