The doors of Beirut

Most of these doors are from Beirut. There are just a few which I got while on the road. Never mind though, I find that you get the picture. Most doors of Beirut are iron grille, either just doors into a garden or with glass in the house. What I love as well is that clearly doors are kept open. I have quite a couple of pictures where you see the entrance door wide open. This open door policy corresponds also with their ‘open border policy’ in regards to refugees from Syria. Lebanon has by far let the most amount of people into its country. And let’s not forget the Palestinians with some of them finding a more permanent home here. I don’t know if everyone in Lebanon is behind this, but to me these open doors mean one thing. They are not afraid of strangers. Yours, Pollybert
